Johnson verbally commits to Division I University of Buffalo

Barton Community College's Raheem Johnson verbally committed Sunday to continue his playing career at the University of Buffalo. Johnson, a 6'9" sophomore forward from Romulus, Michigan, made his commitment to play for the Bulls' Head Coach Bobby Hurley after considering numerous other Division I offers. Johnson, a 6'9" sophomore forward from Romulus, Michigan, made his commitment to play for Buffalo Head Coach Bobby Hurley after considering numerous Division I offers. Johnson is expected to lead the 2013-14 Cougars as Head Coach Craig Fletchall returns only three letterman and will lean on Johnson to carry the load. Averaging 8.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per game his freshman season, Johnson helped the Cougars reach the Region VI Championship game finishing 28-6 on the season.

Barton Community College men's basketball player Raheem Johnson recently verbally committed to continue his playing career next season at the University of Buffalo.  Johnson, a 6'9" sophomore forward from Romulus, Michigan, made his commitment to play for the Bulls' Head Coach Bobby Hurley after considering numerous Division I offers.  Johnson is expected to lead the 2013-14 Cougars as Head Coach Craig Fletchall returns only three letterman and will lean on Johnson to carry the load.  Averaging  8.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per game, Johnson helped the Cougars reach the Region VI Championship game finishing 28-6 on the season.
