The Barton Community College women's cross country team wrapped up its regular season with a 13th placing today in the Fort Hays State University Tiger Open. Delayed thirty minutes due to heavy rains Friday night, the five Lady Cougar runners were among the 157 entries and fifteen team 5k Black Race held at Victoria’s wet and muddy Sand Plum Nature Trail.
The Barton Community College women's cross country team competed in their second meet of the season Friday evening in the Papa John’s Invitational hosted by Emporia State University. Held at the Emporia Municipal Golf Course, the Lady Cougars didn’t field a full team in the 5k race amongst a field of 147 runners from NJCAA, NAIA, and NCAA Division II levels.
