The No. 14 ranked Barton Community College wrestling team closed out the fall portion of the schedule Saturday, going 28-31 with an individual runner-up finish in the Doane University Open held in Crete, Nebraska.
Competing against a field packed with wrestlers from nationally ranked programs on the NCAA Division I and II levels, the No. 16 ranked Barton Community College wrestling program went 13-26 on Sunday at the Bob Smith Open hosted by Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas.
The Barton Community College wrestling program opened its 2017-18 season this past Sunday in the Oklahoma City University Open, compiling a 46-36 record amongst its twenty-one entered wrestlers coming away with two champions within its five placers of the freshman-sophomore division.
